Give soldiers a grenade launcher. Means that if they're being raped by 3 Mutants, they have a chance of getting some points on the board through splash damage, plus it's got decent range.

Nah grenades suck... they don't explode at short range... Hard to aim... don't do much damage... and they have minimal range... Wow sorry didn't mean to be so harsh about it

Here's an idea, since grenades don't explode short range, give them a shotgun and grenade launcher. Then nothing's going to make it more fair. I suggested to Lee before that the first Mutant should be a bit stronger than the rest, but apparently, that's too difficult.
