CoD vs. Steam Recognition
Ok, so here is a question I have been asking since I started playing both MW 2 and Black Ops.
Apparently, Steam recognizes and holds Black Ops in its Library naturally, as, you do not need to add it manually upon finishing your download/install. But, it will not allow you to use the steam server browser for Black Ops servers. So, the theory of using steam as a multiplex interface for these games becomes almost void in the sense of black ops, when I can just launch by shortcut, in order to enter the server browser. Steam for this purpose is not needed.
But I do see upon the server list, the VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) logo. So, is it that they are just using a separate network and will not allow steam to be used to browse the servers? Or is there a way to integrate this? It's somewhat annoying.

Re: CoD vs. Steam Recognition
I've had the same issue with most games not developed and ran by Valve. It's possible Steam only integrates the server browser with games affiliated with themselves? It's better than assuming they simply forgot. Thats a huge part of why people use steam and it doesn't seem a dev team would forget that

*Shrugs*
I dunno, just seems like a waste of time to count it and implement it as a "steam" game, but to have to load it's server browser externally regardless.
