Tsunami Logo Contest

Tsunami Gaming is looking for a simple logo to be used for a variety of things including:

• navicon
• merchandise
• website features/graphics
• banner exchanges
• etc.

This graphic MUST meet the following requirements:

1. The graphic must be simple and any letters must be extremely easy to read
2. The graphic must be detailed enough so that it can be resized between 10x10 and 100x100 pixels.
3. Resemble and/or contain a large wave
4. Properly represent "Tsunami" sites (ie. themed like 'water').

Other than that, the requirements are pretty flexible.

Since I want this to be extremely competitive and all I care about is making it the best it can be, I am going to do two things:

1. You CAN (and are required to) post your rough drafts, final products, etc. in this thread - and this thread only - so that others can see it (even those competing with you).
2. I will award the winner $25 cash and the runner-up (2nd place guy) $10 just for trying. If only two people compete, then you both are guaranteed a prize.

As you post graphics, rough drafts, etc. I will comment on them and tell you what I think. Others can too. And that should help you develop more of an idea of what I'm looking for in the end.

Keep in mind, that the winner will not only win the prize, but earn bragging rights since this graphic will end up on the front of a lot of sites and merchandise!

I'd want something a little larger, though, and it wouldn't necessarily say "TSU" on it (maybe it would).

I suck at logo's
Killer's looks good, unless you were actually looking for a text/picture style that has a seethrough background and all of that fancy stuff.

Yeah.. tbh i suck at logos and anything to do with computer "paint/art" literally i just played with the liquify tool and the text is just standard text, nothing special

Of all of the pictures you've shown, none of them are really what I'm looking for, to be honest.

However ... if you edit out a piece of one of them, you can kind of see...

Oh, not only on a transparent background -- but also maybe throw a few color varieties in there so I can see what looks best. I like the concept of a single simple wave. Maybe even with TSU on it. Maybe not.

Don't be afraid to put like 10 versions of the same thing (like LtGrimes did). I actually prefer that.

No one else is interested in producing a logo?

I had some more ideas on this:

(1) If using TSU in the logo, you could make the S look like a wave sorta like this (made very quickly, but you get the point):



(2) If you want to use TGN (Tsunami Gaming Network) and/or the words, you could. Maybe even a separate logo for that.

In either case, I REALLY need something asap. This has gone on for a few weeks, and I need to have a quality draft ... like ... now; because I'm working on some new pages for the community.
