explain??

right i have had bad spikes in ren for ages now that bad i cant play on the nazi server

2 night there i said 2 my self f;';k it i set the detail up full and full res 1360*768 (was playing on 800*600 and lowest deatil)
at this setting i have very little spikes even on nazi server but did spike a bit on m11 map..

to me it sounds stupid but y is it less spikey with detail up full??

forgot 2 say on low deatil i have 20 fps unstable
but on high detail i have a steady 10-11 fps

I believe it goes like if your screen/res is small but there's alot of action going on, it's hard for your card to generate those details on such a small scale.

I get crap FPS no matter what my res and detail is - and it seems to be worse in Mutation - but oh well. :]

u know, there are video cards out there today for >$50 that can run ren at 100 fps.. I seriously don't get why some people still struggle with 20 fps on an 8 year old game.

I don't get why my laptop doesn't run it fast because I have a better graphics card than my desktop - and my desktop used to run it just fine.

Maybe it's just Mutation. I don't really go on any other servers...

u know, there are video cards out there today for >$50 that can run ren at 100 fps.. I seriously don't get why some people still struggle with 20 fps on an 8 year old game.

Although, I would really not recommend spending money on a PC that doesn't even have an AGP slot nowadays... but;

Pretty recent card, I dont know hwo it performs, but it has more features then the 9250.

nice cards but i wont use my card online and im not from the US so cant buy any of them cards over here ~_~ sicking or what LOL

Since my upgrade i've been kept up to good 60fps but the damn server keeps pinging random between 90 to 200, mostly 90 though but with old comps i realized reason for low fps is usualy MS Autoupdates
(svchost.exe) or Antivirus. u should check them out on task manager and i had to do same also, keep res but with me i had it 640x480 lol
