hey uhh i have a couple of IRC servers and idk how to get moderator powers. how do i do that?

/cs register <chan name> <name> <password> i think to register (do /cs help register)
and then /cs owner #<chan-name>
u can also do /mode #<chan name> +q (for owner) <player name>

Does anyone else find it irritating when someone puts up an IRC server just to say they have one, but they have absolutely no idea what to do with it or how to configure it?

Unless you have a large community or company with a distinct need for a unique IRC server - just use someone else's.
