Where do your screenshots go after you take them?

If you take them with your 'Print screen' key they're saved into the Renegade data folder (C:\Westwood\Renegade\Data), if you take them with Fraps they're saved into your Fraps folder (C:\Fraps).

I had trouble with that a while back, my prtscr key wouldnt send them to my data folder so I went out and got Howies Quick Screen Capture Tool. Really simple and easy to use and you can chose where to save the ss's.

Always an option but medici is right too.

ok. cuz i took some today (had 60,000 pts in a cctf game) with the print screen key and i looked in my renegade data folder and there were none there.. so Ruiner where can i download that Howies Quick Screen Capture Tool?

For the sake of all of us, don't remember it.

Print Screen usually only Copies what is shown on screen. Basically a screenshot, but you need to go into PS or MS Paint and click 'Paste', and there you go. Sometimes annoying to do, but eh.

if the normal renegade method is not taking screenshots, check your folder for a file named 'ScreenShot01.png'
if its not there, just make a blank .png file or whatever format u have it set to with paint and save it there and it will start saving them agian, after you have a real ss in there u can delete it and it will recycle the number
