How to play

excuss me if there is a place where there is already help on it but, how exactly do i set up to play on renegade servers i couldent find help on this anywhere

Do you have the original C&C:Renegade disc or the Renegade installation that came with "C&C: The First Decade" (aka 'TFD')?

i have the first decade one i also have the orginal

It is far less buggy if you install Renegade from the original copy and not TFD. After you have installed download the main patches here (instructions listed). Then you can either choose XWIS, formerly Wol, or GameSpy to join servers. I would recomend you use the Wol version because most servers are listed on there and its not as gay as gamespy.

If you're using tfd please tell me you have xp not vista. If you have vista lemme know and i can talk you through the setup. Tfd is a pain in the nuts to use with vista and takes more work and I just recently got mine to connect so i know what to do.

Install every game in The First Decade bundle *EXCEPT* Renegade. And then install Renegade on its own from the old/original CDs.
