Survey Mod

New mod for you to play with, the Survey mod. Try out the example survey in this topic.

You can add surveys to your topic by clicking the 'Design a Survey' heading underneath the poll area of the topic creation, which will open an additional section of the form which is hidden by default, where you can create your survey.


Installed by fl00d3d, templates fixed by danpaul88.




Note: The templates might still need some rejigging to fix the layouts, but they actually work now, as opposed to the ones that came with the mod, which didn't work in the TsuGaming theme.

Make it more distinct who answered each question, like between sean and matix it looks kinda crowded

You can put more spaces between entries and format things differently. We just made it in the most confusing way possible so we could test the "worst case scenario" to make sure it didn't destroy the web page.

Some minor alterations made to the templates for the survey topic viewing, added gaps between each set of answers and made the survey title larger. Also made the fill out survey buttons and caption left aligned, and made it possible to actually read the text on the buttons.

Other templates will be modified tomorrow to include similar changes, for now I need sleep.

Can't you just put a distinguishable line between the answers/questions? Just to clear up any confusion between answers.

Why can I not edit my post after 1 minute??? One idea is just a plain grid, or inverted colors (like in check books) would be easy.

Kinda like TsuMurder already suggested?

I think an alternating background color would be good (for each row). Rather than gridlines. We don't want to clutter it too much. But, yeah, something should probably be done. Also, the question part up top (which is bolded) makes it kinda hard to read. So rather than a bold style, why not a different color?
