Thanks for the introduction fl00d. 8)
As stated, I'm responsible for a number of projects that have yet to be announced, most of which would probably surprise a large number of locals. I will
not be the one to give specifics of any of these projects to any of you, so don't bother asking about specifics such as name, code, etc, because you won't get them.
As fl00d mentioned, I'm a very experienced PHP coder.
Some of you are probably thinking to yourselves at this point "what's PHP?" Well.. to say the least, it's a server-side preprocessor language (originally designed strictly for html manipulation) that supports dynamic manipulation of html (the make-up of every web page), images, and so on via code that resembles, to some degree, the code that your operating system is primarily comprised of (this site uses PHP to be functional).
I have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with PHP (taught myself in-depth through both the
PHP website and some careful thought into how things were structured). I started learning PHP after pvtschlag amazed me with what he was able to do with it, I would ask for his help with the code when I was unsure of what was causing certain errors to occur. Since then, I've made image hosting scripts (allowing: upload, edit, delete, etc), the backbone of the NR website (I'm especially proud of my work on the downloads section), my own content management system, and so much more that I could just keep going on and on for hours on end.
Many of you had only heard of me until now, but I hope to befriend many of you so that many of you will know who I am in depth. Who knows, I might even set a time once a month/year where I'll open an Xfire chat room as a means to get the chance to get to know me (perhaps I'll even participate in interviews over Xfire/email, for those of you who like interviewing people). 8)
As fl00d also mentioned, I'm an adult and a student. I'm currently 19 years old, and I'm going to school at ITT Tech for an Associate's Degree in Web Development. If any of you are wondering why I would be taking web development courses, considering I already know most of it, it's simply because then if I go looking for a job locally that is hiring web developers, I can apply for the job knowing that I have a really good chance of being accepted.
Well... I think that's enough about me for now. Don't forget that I might reserve time for people to get to know me on Xfire (will announce it at least 3-4 days in advance if I do, so that you can request an invite), and for those those of you who do interviewing, feel free to perform Xfire/email interviews on me, just don't expect immediate responses from me (I'm a very busy person most of the time, and only get to check my email 1-2 times a day usually).
