Ban Core202 - refusal to test.

Sigh... this guy was one of the regular players in the CCTF, never thought that he would turn out to be a hacker. There were four people ingame, with my 8mbps, low ping, 75 fps, I was not lagging. He killed me in the middle of him refilling, which I thought was very odd. I thought immediately he was using RoF, but I didn't say anything. A few kills later I asked him for a test, he was extremely mad at me for asking him. I have never seen someone so pissed off for being asked for a test, when really it is not a big deal. He said that he couldn't save things onto his moms computer, but I told him to upload them then delete them. He then said that he didn't want to bother, then when I said I had to ban him he totally switched on me... He was definetly using RoF, and he didn't want me to see that he had 999 bullet clips. So anyway, ban him from all the servers for test refusal. You can see in the log I did nothing to provoke him, he was extremely rude and I was very shocked that he reacted that way. It is a lot to read through, but in order to fully understand the situation you should read through all of it. You can see I was extremely patient, the test took about 25 minutes. He insulted me, calling me a bs mod, saying that he was going to get my mod taken away or something. Regardless, he is banned for refusal to test.

Reading that - I honestly believe that he doesn't cheat. I thought that he was just a impatience kid that doesn't understand he can delete ss after their taken so mom doesn't find out... idk, just a hunch. There's a lot of factors that could contribute to bs head shots and you still can't rule out lag b/cz you have good connection... you thought I cheated as well.

Actually, it is pretty obvious that he is hacking and doesn't want to get caught. His behavior is completely irrational, the whole "my moms computer" is just an excuse, just like how people say "wahhh my brother did it." He was fine with the test, until I told him about the screen shots. If he has 25 minutes to waste talking, he can spend 10 minutes taking some screen shots. And lets be real, who doesn't know how to delete things on their computer?

*sigh* I know this. If everyone just agrees policy won't change. I'm not saying this is a bad policy, but there's flaws, with everyone agreeing the flaws of a policy won't change for the better. Be open minded

Look at it this way... The two extremes of politics, Fascism and Communism, have mostly been agreed to be unsuccessful and in most cases unfair, centre politics seem to work more. It's pretty much the same here, our mods are not insanely abusive ('too much arty splash, b4nh4mm3r inc') nor are we in any way lax or tolerant regarding cheating (note our 'mod vote' ban system, and the rule that stops st0ne from being a mod).

Point is: Zero tolerance on leaving during a test is the only way to go. If you let one off the hook, you have to let them all. Besides, my tests take on average 10 minutes, 2 minutes for each ss, and 2 minutes for basic hack tests. He spent 25 minutes complaining and stalling.
