Is it acceptable to create a couple rooms on your irc server to host and play around with my renegade fds?
Its on SSI at the moment and I would rather have it here as i don't really know anyone there. Would be honored to use TSUgaming's name in it if that makes a difference. Someday I would like to turn it into a building server but as of yet I have not figured out how to do so. That's something maybe the Geek section could help me with in the future. I certainly mean no competition with your server though so if it would appear that way then never mind.

Don't use SSI, I know those people, they aren't really professional.

Use Jelly/st0rm IRC network. That is what we use.

I agree they are not. That's what prompted the question. And will do thank you for the response and the suggestions.

We took our Renegade server down because Jelly put their AOW back up - and all I wanted was a small AOW for the community. I never wanted to host Renegade lol. So if you have a server, throw it up, just let us know if you plan on using the TsuGaming game so we can discuss some things. Our reputation is at stake.

I wondered when i saw jelly without the tsu name in it anywhere. I was just offering to give credit to you wanted. Mine would never meet your standards as a tsu server just thought i would offer to give you the plug so to say if you wanted. I did take the advice and moved it. I really just play around with it trying to learn more about it. Kind of a past time that i picked up from my dad once upon a time. i must have missed something in the irc registration or something though cause my brenbot keeps getting a quit for a ping timeout so its not working quite right yet. Anyway thanks for the advice on the move and i won't use the name anywhere .

Though if anyone has the time please jump on it and give any suggestions for its improvement. It runs pretty smooth most of the time, and I have had some fun learning the server side commands and their uses. Its under a host of Apv320 and a name of McFly's on WOL. I'll add you guys as admins if you would like so that you can tweak it as you feel appropriate. I know nothing in comparison to what you guys know about it so I would appreciate the help though would not ask for anything in particular. Probably mostly cause I wouldn't know what to ask lol . Its there anyway please feel free to test it out for me. Only a few people have really ever played on it (like maybe fifteen total, and not all at once of course).

And you can advertise TsuGaming.com in the rotation if you want. Just word it so that it says something like "Partnered with TsuGaming.com" rather than "Official TsuGaming.com server".

OK cool I will add that.. Its running in AOW at the moment pretty old school not to many mods at all really other than starting creds of 400. I switch it around when i can get people on that wanna play. I really enjoy a good game of capture the flag (in fact i used to play with dad on your old CCTF and loved it). I have not spent enough time in it to add all the custom commands you used to have. If you would ever like to get rid of a copy of those config files i would love to even purchase them that was classic and should be preserved!! Someday hope to learn enough to create a build server that might be considered stable (Its a long way off yet i think though). I'm getting better though, and I'm not afraid of trial and error so I think I'll get there. Especially if I ask some intelligent questions and do some memory picking around here1

Yeah i suppose your right they prolly weren't commands just changed all the staring stuff and mixed the weapons around. The laptop was fun, and the hottie/ techie guns were great to play with people always screamed cheater though when you used them. Then they would kill you and freak cause of the ion/nuke blast the first couple times.
