As someone who has lost friends and fellow comrades to terrorism, this is a very person topic for me.

We will NEVER forget!

Been watching the rebuilding ground zero series on discovery this week, did the memorial open today as planned?

I don't think there are many cases of human suffering that cause so much distress to so many people in so many places - even those who didn't personally know anyone hit by this unfortunate tragedy. Unfortunately I was only eight at th time so it is tough for me to gauge how I felt at the time, but even ten years on, I'm still no less shocked than I would expect to have been had I been eighteen at the time.

May all those who passed on this day ten years ago Rest In Peace...

I was in 1st grade, But I still have memories.

I was in 10th grade when it happened

I was home from school because I was ill... watched everything that happened live on TV... happened around 1:30 pm UK time, was busy texting my mum at working to keep her updated with the most recent developments. It was one of those awful events that you simply couldn't stop yourself from watching even though you know thousands of people are dying... terrible...

RIP all those who died on the 11th of September 2001.

Heard it on the radio on the way to school. Dad was driving, and said "You will never forget this day." We will never forget. RIP

I remember being in gym class as a junior in HS and they turned the TV on and we all watched the second plane hit.
I didn't know what to think it almost seemed surreal . I left school immediately to go home and see what was going to have to happen.
That day will forever stick out in my mind. Also 3 years later I graduated College on 11Sep2004.
