I was playing the server and went to the PT, while In the PT buying a 500 Sniper I was killed and re spawned as a zombie while the PT screen was still up. As I exited the PT screen I was banned for PT Hack.. It seems kind of funny to me that the guy who begged for the server to be brought back up would cheat in it :/ And IMO Rene is too easy to cheat in.. Not complaining about the bot or anything because I understand why it thought I was using PT hack but I would appreciate an unban please, thank you.

I honestly dont think RuFlez cheats.

But the way it seems like it happened could set the bot off for PT. He probably re-spawned on the other side of the map or something.

Im disabling the PT Hack banning in NR now and updating it to send a cheater alert message to IRC and alert all moderators ingame to keep an eye on that person instead.

Appolagises about this, this is a genuine bug that we had on the server when we ran mutation before that I never got around to fixing. It should be good now!

Of course.. the PT Hack detection code was written for AOW Servers... where you always spawn next to a PT anyway so some of the anti cheat stuff has been fairly tempermental on mutation. Ive disabled the broken ones that im aware of or recoded them to be more efficient. Hopefully none of these false bans occur anymore!

You may understand why it banned you... and it does make sence but the fact is you got banned for cheating when you wernt... so theres a problem that needs to be fixed
