Just end it and get it over with. This game is more trouble than its worth and nothing good comes out of it :\
It was fun while it lasted and this game lasted for a long time, but just like all games, they gotta end sometime and Renegade should have ended years ago. I could go on forever but its best to leave the past in the past...

I half agree. I think it is more trouble than it is worth but I truthfully don't want it to end on the inside. Thats where everyone started and it is like the legacy. I want it around but is it worth it?

Well, the game is about 8 years old... I'm surprised to see it last this long here.

It takes money and time to run servers. And empty servers do nothing for the community. So it takes more time to get servers full, or even to just have a small number of players. It is a lot more work then you would think. We need active mods, a strong player base, and constant donations. But one or two people can't do it all. I love renegade and I want the servers up but in the whole scheme I truthfully don't now it is worth the time, effort, and money.

I personally don't believe running Renegade servers is "trouble". I also don't think that Renegade itself is "trouble". I've ran servers and I've never really had "trouble". I've never hacked, so I've never had "trouble" in that respect.

Sorry, but when you say "trouble", I don't think that your opinion is based on the game and running a community, but in fact, it's based more on your, shall we say, slightly jaded past.

He doesn't mean being hacked. He means money time and effort. Well at least thats what I got out of it.

The impression I got is that we're talking about money, time, and effort.

I think dagun's points are right on the mark.
