OMG is that a Stealth Mutant?!?!

well not yet but i want to know what people think about this

[17:04.25] <&tsumutant> [NR] WillytheDude123: how bout a stealthed mutant class?

i was thinking a normal mutant in a stealth suit to be put on the nod pt in the place where the engi is and making it melee only and have them pick up weapons

we would like to use the standard mutant in a stealth suit and not the SBH so they could still heal on tib and to stay with the general theme of the game

oh and night i need to know if this is even possible?

The amount of HP is going to be a problem. What are you thinking. Oh and BTW love the idea.

possible... but it would have to be based off of the actual SBH and change the model etc

Meaning health/armour will be incorrect for people as the client thinks its a SBH.

Also itrequires a scripts.dll edit in order to make an actual stealth mutant... it also wont be able to go at the super speeds. It will be going at the speed of the acolyte.

also going into the tib will make your character do the damage animation. and i THINK would become unstealth (dont quote me on that - i dont know) but health would actually be increaseing.

ok so you are saying we could have an sbh as a mutant i think that would work i want to see what other people say before we even try implementing it maybe a spring break project for you night ;)

or you can make it have the same effect it would normally do to a NOD SBH

That defeats the purpose.

The whole to point is to have a stealthed MUTANT. Not a high-tech gear-head walking around with zombies.

I've seen on a server where it had the Petrova model (the mutant one). Possibly could work off of that? It has stealth, regains health in tiberium (it healed while stealthed, although it still had the little lines going up and down it ), but it was way overpowered.

Don't let this have a lot of health. Too much advantage already, but I like the ideas here

Me and dark talked, we were thinking 50 hp and small speed boost, and that 50 hp has to be the set hp, we don't want them going on the tib and getting 200

Could use the mutant petrova model?

It hsa to be based off the actual SBH hand though. Otherwise people without an updated scripts.dll will see them unstealth. Which means we cant do speed boosts.

ok night i would like it to be faster then a normal human but it that isnt possible without people having to get the new scripts then we can just have them the normal speed

i think this would be a very cool and fun idea for mutant players (like me) :)
