President Obama has insisted on change ... so we've made changes!

In all seriousness, the Executive Board has decided that the mission for Renegade passed down to the FPS Director (Medici) and subsequently the Renegade Manager (also Medici) was not being accomplished. Medici is a great guy and we all like him a lot, but he's just not doing what we need him to do right now -- and I'm pretty sure I heard rumors its for personal reasons. So....without making some big dramatic scene and hurting feelings, we're going to shuffle the leadership around for awhile and see if we can't breath some life back into Renegade.

That being said, I've cleared out the "FPS Director" seat on the Council (previously Medici) and will be short-circuiting the position myself. This means that I will be directly overseeing all FPS subcommunities --such as this one-- for the time being. The "Renegade Manager" (previously Medici) will be taken over by Spurs.

This is effective immediately.

Spurs will make a response below letting you all know what his plans are for this C&C:Renegade subcommunity. Please give him your full support, and renewed interest in the game, as he tries his best to make our servers more popular than ever.

There are big changes in store for the Renegade Community. As you will see, we have already compiled the forums, and everyone has been deleted from the moderator list and forum section. TsuClan has also been absolved for the time being as we do not currently have the personnel to run it. My #1 priority is to get the servers up and running with our new bot (brenbot). Here are my intentions for the servers:

I'm going to finish what Medici had been working on, basically - which is....

• on 04, we will have a completely new marathon server with crates, ssgm and other "goodies" that were not in our previous 'old school' server.
• on 05, we plan to have a co-op server, though this is still in the works and we may have a buffer server in there for the time being.

I am going to work with danpaul this week to get our primary server back up. After that, people still interested and active in the game may re-apply for moderator and I will grant moderation status (I.E. Admin, Co-admin, full etc.) on an experience and knowledge basis, and on how active these players have been in game. However, the first priority is getting the server up and running. In the meantime I will start taking applications in the mod application forum for Administrators and all other renegade personnel. I'm unlikely to grant mod status to people I don't know until the server is up and running

The mod hangout and the apply for mod forums are going to be archived, so we can all start off fresh!

Please bare with me in the changes, and hopefully we can have our server up and running within this week!
