Alright i got everything setup but when i try to start CNC Renegade it doesn't start. Anyone know what the problem is?

It's an FDS bug I believe. One common fix is to start renegade then start your server or you can download a fix I believe. You can download it on the Renegade Forums I believe.

Starting Renegade then my server doesn't seem to work. I'm gonna try to download the fix.

Do you have Vista?

Add /multi to your command line for both the FDS and Renegade, that allows you to run both at the same time.

Yeah i have Windows Vista. I'll try that danpaul.

Ok i just added /multi to both FDS and Renegade and it didn't load up at the same time. I probably put it in the wrong line or something.

Just start renegade first then server lol.

Alrighty! I got it all set up. But theres one more problem, The FDS restarts when i join the listing. =/

That happens if you use the same nickname to login as you told the FDS to use, you have to use a different nickname for the FDS.

Very strange.. i got it all started up and NR and when i go ingame i can't use it.

You get gameplay pending?

You need atleast 2 players.

I have the patch for the game pending, i mean i can't use the commands.
