has any thing on the server been changed lately? or a new box or whatever??

ive been havin very bad fps lag below 10 but only seems 2 be the tsu server that its really bad on.....

well the addition of 2 new/re-newed servers probably has impacted that....

Rene is laggy, its just all part of it. Alot of things effect renegade as far as lag is concerned. Renegade prolly has more lag factors then any other game ive played.

Really nothing has changed with the servers... unless lee or sean were messing with the box o.O

FPS lag has nothing to do with the server.

If it's more laggy here, the only thing I can think of is we have more features enabled (such as weather) than other servers.

The lag is definately server side, I was in the aow the other day and was warping everywhere along with spoontard and some other people. My fps never dropped below 60 and ping stayed around 100.

i know FPS is to do with my side of things really but lately it drops below 10 on tsu... ping hasnt really changed around 200-300...fps does drop a bit on the odd other sever but not as bad...

200-300 FPS is normal for us Sine, but a drop in FPS can obviously be caused indirectly by something else. I'll install Ren tonight and pop in the servers.

mine's not that bad. it drops when somthing stupid pops up in the background and lags my system. the thing i still can't figure out is why won't my post work when I try to upload a fraps vid? it never goes through. am i missing a step?

Someone post a screenshot proving that you're in TsuGaming server with less than 55 sfps (notice I said Sfps and not Fps). Otherwise, I don't believe you.

The server is a quad core with 8gb of RAM and a gigabit uplink. And there isn't much running on that server right now.

I played CCTF and AOW today and felt there was less lag than I remember. I did see Cotsuma and Scorpio both disconnect a couple of times but I've had episodes of the same thing happen to me in the past with no direct server-side cause. I reckon (with my limited knowledge of all things digital) that it's most likely caused by player-side bandwidth.

think my sfps is 60 most of the time about 98% or so of the time

i know my lag is on my side. does any one have an answer why I can't post my fraps vids on posts?
