Tsunami meets Hurricane

Tsunami Gaming is having an opportunity to meet a category 2 hurricane starting this evening and through much of the next 24-48 hours. Hurricane Ike has made landfall in Texas, and is moving with momentum and force towards Dallas, Texas - where this website is hosted.
I wanted to take the time to let our regulars know that there is always a chance of disaster in these sorts of powerful displays of nature.
In all the years of my professional hosting experience, I have never seen a single hurricane cause significant outages. So I would bet money that our site and services won't flinch. But in the event that there is in fact a few hours or more of outage - there is a good chance its related to the hurricane.
Wish I was there to watch it. I love storms =D

The coolest part is being right in the middle of the eye. You can usually look up at see a distinct circle of clouds all around you (the inner edges of the hurricane) and its perfectly clear/sunny above you. The most devestating and powerful parts are the outsides.

No, we don't let mother nature deal with it, we just take the warning signs off of everything.
