Tsunami Gaming

The new Tsugaming Files section has now been officially launched. The new system replicates the functionality of the original TsuFiles, but integrates it into the forum structure and adds new features such as the ability to rate files. While there is still some work to be done on the system, it is functional and therefore there is no reason to keep it hidden from general users.


One thing worth mentioning: The 'Post comment' functionality DOES work, but you have to manually refresh the page to see your posted comment. This will be fixed in due course, but for now you should be aware that this is a known issue, and the comments are still getting saved.


Feature requests and bug reports are welcome.

The description field supports full BBcode syntax. However, no downloads actually use this, because the descriptions are all pulled from the old Tsufiles database, where BBcode was not supported.

If someone uploads a 1024x768 screenshot, we wouldn't want the full image to be displayed as a "comment" (preview) anyway. So a thumbnail thing would be nice. Even for non image items (like skins).

Yeah, but it doensn't matter if you put a 1024x768 image as a description or comment - it's still WAY too large. But making THUMBNAILS (images resized/maxed to something like 200x150) would be a good idea.

This is kind of like how I claimed someone deleted my post a long time ago and no one believed me. =[
