9600GT has dropped a little in price, and an easy SLI, if you really want to. $130-$200

Just be sure to know how to keep it cool :D

The 8800GT is faster then the 9600GT. You can buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130319 for $155, you also get a $20 mail in rebate, putting you at $135.

8800GT (from what I have heard from that specific link I sent you) has a G92 core, which is the same as the 9600GT and others (9XXX) so they both generate around the same amount of heat, and both highly overclockable. Except the 8800GT has more stream processors, so it's more bang for the buck then 9600GT.

Hope this helps.

Well, it seems I'll probably end up buying a completely new computer. Unfortunately... It's gonna cost a lot more :( Is it advised I get a "Gaming" computer or can I just buy a decent one for like 400 dollars? I really only play Rene, WoW, and would like to play UT3.

mine was £350.. So my piece of sh*t anables me to rape faces, why would a gamer computer make a difference?

I was using a piece of sh*t for a long time, then went to the 1337 computer the I have now. If anything my general skill dipped slightly with my new computer because there's more going on, and you see things in much better detail. It even took a lot of time for me to get used to a much bigger screen.

The same happened when I moved my Xbox downstairs, my TV down there is about five times bigger than my TV up here. Again it took me quite a while to adapt, even though the image is much better and bigger.
