Relinquishing authority

Effective immediately, I am relinquishing my full authority to my council. This means that though I will remain your community founder and reserve the right to return at any time with full authority, I will not be active in the day to day affairs of TsuGaming any longer.

There are a few reasons for this:
  • Tsunami Gaming is entering its next phase of evolution which will require a great commitment on behalf of its leadership. No more relying on fl00d3d to do everything for them.
  • My priority in life, right now, is on business. Before TsuGaming was created I co-owned a webhosting company and subsequently invested all of my spare time (and potential income as a network security analyst) into TsuGaming. I can't afford to keep this trend. That's why I will be spending all of my energy on my new business(es).
  • I have a lot of 'cleaning up' and 'recovering' to do in my life. Between family issues, other personal issues, finances, etc. I cannot stay focused on the things that important to me when spending every waking minute that I have on TsuGaming.
This does not mean that I am disappearing or abandoning the community; because I am not.

Here is how this will affect TsuGaming:
  • The council's authority will be increased. They'll no longer need my permission on anything. They'll simply complete the democratic process of voting on the major issues and do it.
  • Nightma12 will remain actively involved in the day-to-day affairs of the community. He will be stepping up into the position I filled for the most part. Though he's not technically a founder or full owner, he will have close to the authority that I had before as he is most familiar with how things work.
  • I am adding Danpaul to the TsuGaming Council. His priority and focus will be on the development of the TsuGaming web presence (web sites, network sites, servers, etc.). He is also a full staff member (and admin) for AOhost (soon to be 'Tsulutions, LLC).
  • Appointed leaders (server admins, game reps. such as Raulperez, clan reps. such as Crazyreb, etc.) will be required to be more actively involved in the things they oversee.
  • I will be changing my MSN so that only people who are on my list can contact me. And the only people that will be on my MSN will be TsuGaming Council members and business contacts. If you need to contact me, you can either email me or send me a PM on the forums. I warn you, however, if you bother me for something that someone else can help you with I will block you.
I will be "around" every single day as I am now. The only difference is that I will be completely blocking out TsuGaming unless a member of the council comes directly to me.

HERE ARE SOME POINTS OF CONTACT:

Nightma12 = AOhost/Tsulutions support, Website and Forums admin, Server(s) owner, NR Support, TsuGaming Council
Danpaul = AOhost/Tsulutions support, Website and Forums admin, TsuGaming Council
Spazer = Multimedia/graphics, TsuGaming Council
Metal Vixen = Spotlight Gamer, TsuGaming Council
Raulperez = Any Renegade issue
Crazyreb = Any clan/guild issues

I wish you all the best of luck in your gaming experiences and hope to see you online for a random game here or there. ;)

Btw, I forgot to mention: I will still be playing games. So if anyone wants a pickup game of Zero Hour, Diablo2, WoW, Renegade, etc. then just message me on xfire. I won't be removing anyone from xfire since its only used for actual gaming (And I'll only be logged in when gaming or able to game).

yes, gl to you fl00d.. that's kinda what i've been through, except without all the business stuff included, and the few things I've had to do to try to straiten myself out were hard enough by themselves, let alone a bunch a business work, then a web community to run as well.. c ya round, Gl again.
