damn i've been gone for along time... well Ruiner does have a prob (no doubt alot of people do including myself but i no how to control ) sigh... well BI least ya'll are doing something good and btw how long for the DLL or w.e client is gonna be released

It took me a while to reply cause my mother and step dad insisted on taking me out last night and getting me really really hammered. So its 4pmest and im just rolling around.

errm ok, firstly i would really prefer not kiss your *ss tbh, if you do have the literacy to read my posts, then fine. The simple fact was you were unmistakeably rude from the moment i joined your server, i ask for a simple apolagy if you dont have the bottle to admit your mistake then more fool you, dwell within your own naivity by all means. For a start - Knowing Ruiner as I do, he won't care. He's also going away for a long time starting the 13th, so it won't really matter that much.

Although, this, in no way at all excuses his behaviour, it just about means you can forget that apology.

That's not exactly a positive attitude. I politely asked that until its made public you don't use it on my server. I think that's fair. You don't have to be negative and say "might as well ban all of BI and KOS" because I found that a bit ... agressive.

Yeah, there have been a few registration bugs that appear to come and go at will. It started about a month or two ago. I'll probably manually approve the latest batch of pending registrations while we're waiting on a fix, sorry about that.

Anyway -- as for the issues with your ban and Ruiner (TsuJoker) I'd rather not start an argument over this. I personally think that Ruiner goes over the top a lot, especially when he knows he can get away with it because he has some mod privledges. He assured me on IRC today that had the bot not been in debug mode and working properly, he would NOT have abused commands on you. However, I told him that I didn't agree and that I do feel he would have abused. Regardless, we'll never know. But one fact does remain: I try to run a very democratic and fair server, with extremely strict requirements for my moderators. There are too many poorly moderated servers out there, and I've been around long enough to deal with them. Which is why I removed his mod early (I was going to remove it anyway since he's leaving/moving).

So at this point, I think we should just let this topic die and you guys should enjoy your stay here and get to know the NORMAL (lol, sorry Ruiner) members and moderators who are a bit more friendly. And then maybe by the time Ruiner comes back from his move, he'll be calmed down and you'll have a better picture of how we truely handle things around here: fairly, maturely, and respectfully.

I've been trying to establish a better relationship with the Renegade community recently, and I was a bit upset when I found out that this happened because I know many of you were coming over from the BI server. But Ruiner (TsuJoker) had no way of knowing that, or my intentions of building these new friendships.

Anyway, out of respect for the many GREAT moderators and admins that we have here, and the countless friendly players, I ask that we all move on and avoid this topic so that we can focus on more positive things.
