i play search and destroy rifle only on cod2 i doubt they do tht on 4?

CoD 4 is MUCH more modifiable. Meaning we can make it CoD 4, search & destroy, no radar/hud, and streak bonuses, and knife bonuses. kthx

There have been many attempts on a 'renegade 2', but most have either died or failed. This new Tib Wars FPS seems to be like Lost Planet, so it'll be interesting.

Renegade 2.. man it would be cool if they could keep the same background with characters and such but obviously better ones along with tanks and maps. i would really wanna c a new campaign though lol

11/21 of the posts in this thread are off topic, this is about renegade 2, not call of duty, not battle field, not what clan your in. its really annoying to read a topic title and read the posts and find that they have nothing to do with the topic title or original post STOP IT!

anyway... as long as renegade 2 doenst have hacks that bypass anti-cheats (or hacks that cant be made in the first place) i'd buy it... hell i'd buy it even if people did cheat lol. just hope if they do make it they dont screw it up and make it gay...

If there is a new one, what I want to see is new graphics, DX10 gfx. The game is great, withh great ideas, storyline, CCM, MP, etc etc.. its just the drama, gfx, and cheating that gets me out of it.

i dont really care too much about graphics tbh. as long as the gameplay is good and balanced its fun for me, since i have low standards.

p.s. im not mad at you, im mad at everyone that keeps going off topic. im spazzing out because i'd say 1/2 threads people go off topic, and im sick of it.

I'm just picky like that, and gfx are my main turn on of a game. Honestly, Renegade has a pretty good engine, and the new scripts are slowly bringing gfx and gameplay up. The day that I noticed the snow and dirt effects when you shoot or step on the ground, I believed there was ganna be some day, that there will be some major change. If renegade 2 came out, I would definitely give it a thorough try, as should most who like renegade.

Obviously they wont have the same characters, since the main guy in the new story is called Commander Ricardo Vega, and from the pic they have put out the graphics are obviously going to be better.



I just hope they do a decent job of the actual gameplay.

I hope they're not going to make some really pointlessly far-fetched plot twists and somehow make this Vega the same as the one you have to kill in Tib Sun.

It's not going to be RPG, the reviews and sh*t says FPS, that is either A. a screenie from the storyline or B. A scripter/designer panning around to see stuff

In this one gameplay trailer I saw, the guy you played made like the huge jump over a train or something..

In order for me to get into this game I'd want to see:

• A strong plot that goes with the oldschool C&C storyline (ie. Renegade 2)
• Near perfect portrayal of the RTS units in a FPS environment (kinda like Renegade)
• Gameplay that is like Renegade in the sense that you have bases to destroy and big tank wars.
• Not a "half life" (Source engine) game spin off like every other game in the world seems to be these days.
