Wow, nobody voted no.. cant wait to get in the sniper serv..

I'm just waiting for Lee to set everything up (this includes the Server Settings and the forum).

Then I'll start opening Moderator Applications and so forth.

If anyone wants any information on the Sniper Server (before it goes up), please do not hesitate to contact me.

Just a downside to this whole situation. I'm going round my friend's house tomorrow and staying over for the night - so the server might not be up early tomorrow morning. I might be able to do a bit of work around his house, but I can't guarantee anything. What also sucks is I can't use my super scripts (that super suck) for IRC - so I gotta use the IRC Applet

No problem.

It's taking Lee longer than I thought it would have (before, it took him an hour to set it up, but it's been longer) so it'll probably be some time tomorrow.

Might do it tomorrow morning if Lee PM's me the RDP Information for me to login and set everything up before I got to go to my friend's house.

As for when it will definitely be up, I'm not sure. I did expect to have it up by now, but as I say, it's taking longer than I thought.

You might actually see me in the server after it's up and when I'm at my friend's house (he loves C&C too). Let's see if you can recognise me (it helps to know my IRC name ).

I'm probably not gonna be playing until tomorrow David.

I'm literally making the threads and that's it until tomorrow.

I'm probably gonna get up tomorrow at like 8am to set everything server-wise up.

So, maybe later tomorrow. I can't guarantee anything because I'm going to be over my friends house - and in the morning, I'm going out to play football with my friend and some more friends from school and I haven't got a clue when I'm going to be back. So I'll get back to you on that.

As for the Sniper Server, me and fl00d3d have discussed everything and he's setting up everything I'll need to run the server appropriately. As of yet, the server is not up.

The server will be using the following information:

XWIS Username: a0000000e
Server Name: TsuGaming.com :: Sniper
IRC Server: irc.tsugaming.com
IRC Channel: #TsuSniper
Number of Players: 24
Types of Sniper: 1000 and 500 (subject to change)
Starting Credits: 500 (subject to change)

That's about all you will need to know for an accurate description of the server. There will probably not be any Fan Maps in the server and I'm not gonna be putting BIG maps into the rotation. I'm not saying the rotation will be big either. On past Snipers I've ran, there's been FIVE[/i] maps at any one time - maximum. So, there won't be any need for downloads.

That's about all I can think of. As of yet, the forum isn't ready yet, but once it is, I'll be posting all the relevant threads, pretty much like the AOW & CCTF. I'll also be working very closely with Raulperez in making the server better and I'll also be asking for the opinion of the fans of the server too. So please, play your part in making this server a great one.

sweet news! as mobius said, I'll be the official admin of the server along with fl00d3d and Nightma12, but will pretty much just be there to help out and ensure that everythings ship-shape

Mobius will be the contact person for most server issues, but if you can't reach him, i'll be available
