I've been using wired mice and keyboards for my whole life, with 0 problems. I've tried wireless, and I just don't like it. Get the G5 mouse... I've had it for 2 weeks and love it.

I've got a 9800GTX on Vista, and I had no problems with the drivers.
Did you buy the 8500 separate? Or did you get a new computer? If you got it separate, there *should* be a disc with it that has the drivers on it. If not, yeah, make sure you are downloading/installing the correct driver.
