Nahh I figured out what it was, and, for anyone having similar issues...
You have to forward the ports and open yout NAT settings in your router. The XboX is technically a computer, so, if your dhcp isnt working itll assign the xbox the same ip as your machine/router, so you have to port forward, and assign your xbox an ip outside of your routers range.
